Livestock Breeds Sanctuary
For more than 20 years, Algaba de Ronda has dedicated itself to protecting and reviving endangered native Andalusian livestock breeds.
At Algaba de Ronda, we protect and recover endangered native Andalusian livestock breeds, such as the Andalusian donkey, the Grazalema Merino sheep, the Blue Andalusian hen, and the Golden Iberian pig.
The estate has been certified organic since 2001 by the Andalusian Agricultural Committee, deepening our commitment to ensure their preservation through mindful agroecological planning.
At our Recovery Center, we offer the chance to get up close with these animals, learn about their unique livestock heritage, and discover the strategies we use to conserve them.
Upon request, we offer a curated selection of local and organic produce. We warmly invite you to taste them during our special tastings: cured meats, honey, wine, artisan cheeses, rustic bread... and fresh seasonal garden vegetables.

We work every day to conserve native breeds through research, responsible breeding, and deep respect for nature.
