With over 20 years of experience in eco-entrepreneurship and in response to ongoing demand from various groups, we have created a new line of activities. Their diverse workshops range from how to shape a project to running a cooperative business or, broadly speaking, any social economy initiative that is environmentally sustainable and economically viable.

Our program focuses particularly on self-starting initiatives under cooperative models, where people and nature are always at the heart of the path to success.

At Algaba de Ronda, we believe that not just any enterprise will do, but rather those rooted in environmental sustainability and social responsibility as core principles. We believe in entrepreneurship capable of creating and upholding environmental and social values for a viable economic livelihood—both externally (through our relationship with the natural surroundings) and internally (through how we work together within our own organization). Our years of experience as an environmental education and training center, as a cooperative initiative, and especially our ability to network with diverse social economy organizations, help us cultivate the right opportunities and offer tailored guidance in the realm of eco-entrepreneurship and sustainable enterprise.

Society's mindset is evolving toward greater environmental awareness, and eco-entrepreneurship is increasingly seen as an attractive path filled with promising opportunities for the future. The essential key to nurturing this entrepreneurial spirit among youth, students, women, and adults alike is awareness, hands-on holistic training, and technical guidance through supportive activities grounded in real-world experience.
Our goal is to foster creative curiosity among young people, especially those connected to rural life and woodland spaces, guiding their energy toward building a better world.
This program can be tailored in duration and content to meet the specific needs of participants.

Agroecology and Livestock Workshop

In this workshop, we explore organic and zero-kilometer food production in greater depth. We will also learn about the morphology, breeding, and care of endangered native Andalusian livestock breeds living freely on our estate. We will observe the animals in their natural habitat and discover how essential resources such as milk, eggs, wool, and meat—which have sustained human life since ancient times—are obtained.

Eco-Entrepreneurship and Social Economy Workshop
